15 awesome Tv series this 2015 fall to watch

It’s that time of the year again.

New fall shows are coming, and there will be familiar faces and plot lines that make you say “This reminds me of…” We present to you the 15 shows you probably want to check out for Fall 2015 TV season.

“Narcos” (Netflix)

Pablo Escobar and the Medellin Cartel get their story told in this new series that pits drug kingpins against the authorities trying to take them down in the 1980s.

You can binge watch the 10 episodes or let them stretch out over the fall TV season.

“Narcos” premieres on August 28.

“Hand of God” (Amazon Prime)

A corrupt judge finds himself on a path of seeking his own brand of justice after tragedy strikes his family in this psychological drama. Is he crazy or is God really speaking to him?

“Hand of God” premieres on September 4.

“Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris” (NBC)

Who better to host a live variety-type show than Neil Patrick Harris, the man who appears to be able to do anything.

NBC promises that “anything could happen.” Isn’t that exciting?

“Minority Report” (Fox)

Set more than a decade after the events in 2002 film of the same name starring Tom Cruise, the series will feature a “Precog” who is hiding his ability to predict crimes as he works with a detective.

“Blindspot” (NBC)

A naked, tattooed woman is found in a bag in Times Square and that’s when the action begins.

Who is this “female Jason Bourne” (even she doesn’t know), what’s her story, and why does she have the name of the FBI agent investigating her case inked on her body? Producers are hoping you will tune in this fall to find out.

“Blindspot” premieres on September 21.

“The Muppets” (ABC)

This reboot may or may not make fans of “The Muppets” happy.

There’s no spoiler to let you know the series starts off with our favorite couple split up. Yep, in case you haven’t heard, Kermit and Miss Piggy are no more. So look for plenty of romantic tension in this series as they both have moved on.

“Scream Queens” (Fox)

“Scream Queens” features a star with quite the pedigree.

Emma Roberts, niece of Julia and daughter of Eric, appears as the head of a sorority who is being stalked by a murderer. Fans of horror and mystery are looking forward to it.

“The Player” (NBC)

It’s a high stakes game where lives are literally on the line in this fast paced drama set in Las Vegas. But really, we are just excited to see Wesley Snipes in his network debut.

“The Player” premieres on September 24.

“Heroes Reborn” (NBC)

The original “Heroes” was on the air from 2006 to 2010 and had a cult following. The new show shares the same creator, Tim Kring, and is touted as “an epic 13-episode event series that chronicles the lives of ordinary people who discover they possess extraordinary abilities.”

The fan boys and fan girls will determine if it lives up to the “epic” description or not.

“Heroes Reborn” premieres on September 24.

“Blood and Oil” (ABC)

Oh hey Don Johnson.

The “Miami Vice” star is back on the small screen as a oil baron in this drama about a couple chasing their dreams of being business owners in economically booming North Dakota.

It may sound a bit like “Dallas,” but trust us. The first episode’s ending might have you on the edge of your seat.

“Blood and Oil” premieres on September 27.

“Grandfathered” (Fox)

John Stamos just may be the hottest grandfather ever in this comedy about a restauranteur who discovers he has an adult son – and a granddaughter.

“American Horror Story: Hotel” (FX)

Yes, it kind of sucks that Jessica Lange isn’t in the cast of the latest in the “American Horror Story” franchise, but we have two words for you: Lady Gaga as the Countess.

“Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” (CW)

Would you give up your great life in New York City and move cross country to pursue a former summer love? And that’s not even the craziest part of this new musical comedy.

“Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” premieres on October 12.

“Supergirl” (CBS)

Raise your hand if you were one of millions that flocked to the first look of this new show.

Superman’s cousin, Kara Zor-El, is the center of this new fall show based on the DC Comics character. Like her more famous cousin, she too ends up on Earth hiding behind a pair of glasses and a “normal” persona–at least initially.
