Bey’s back — kind of.
The megastar gave her fans a surprise late Thursday night by offering up some new work via a single by the British DJ-producer Naughty Boy. The soulful-dance track “Runnin’ (Lose it All)” features Beyoncé’s unmistakable vocals, alongside a verse courtesy of Brit singer Arrow Benjamin.
Reports in the UK newspaper the Sun suggest that Beyoncé first heard the song in an early form on YouTube, and liked it so much that she requested Naughty Boy (real name Shahid Khan) take it down so they could work on a full version together.
Naughty Boy has already had hits with Sam Smith and Emeli Sandé in his native land over the last few years, though he fell out spectacularly with Zayn Malik over the summer. The former One Direction star called Naughty Boy a “fat joke” after the producer leaked an unreleased solo song online.
@NaughtyBoyMusic you fat joke stop pretending we're friends no one knows you .

Definitely no such signs of any such spat with Queen Bey, who’s set to play the Global Citizen Festival in Central Park on Sept. 26.
